Learn how to make Muthia a popular Gujarati snack recipe by Ruchi Bharani <br /> <br />Enjoy your evenings with delicious and easy to make Muthia, a famous & traditional snack recipe from Gujarat, with Chef Ruchi Bharani only on Rajshri Food. <br /> <br />Ingredients: <br />- Water <br />- 1 ½ cup of wheat flour <br />- 3 tbsp of gram flour <br />- coriander & cumin seed powder <br />- red chilli powder <br />- turmeric powder <br />- sugar <br />- ginger & chilli paste <br />- soda bi carb <br />- lemon juice <br />- oil <br />- coriander leaves <br />- grated bottle gourd ( lauki ) <br />- salt <br />- Mustard Seeds <br />- Sesame Seeds <br />- Curry leaves <br />- Red Chillies <br /> <br />Method: <br />- Boil a pot of water and over it place the greased sieve on the top and cover it with a lid <br /> <br />- In a bowl mix together wheat flour,gram flour, coriander & cumin seed powder, red chilli powder <br />, turmeric powder,sugar, ginger & chilli paste, soda bi carb, lemon juice, oil, coriander leaves, grated bottle gourd ( lauki ) and salt <br /> <br />- Apply oil to your palm and make cylindrical roll of the dough and place it on the steamer and let it steam for 20 -25 minutes <br /> <br />- Let them cool down completely and them chop them into thin slices <br /> <br />- Heat some oil, add mustard seeds, sesame seeds , curry leaves, red chillies and add the muthia's and toss them up. Let them cook for 3-4 minutes Garnish with coriander leaves <br /> <br />- Muthia is ready to be served!
